Lawyer in Training

Occasionally, if Jack is particularly hyped up, he will jump up and down on his crib mattress. The other day when I heard the crib springs squeaking I went upstairs and reminded him that he is not allowed to jump in his crib. His reply? "Mom - I'm not jumping, I'm just bouncing. See? My feet are still on the crib." He was so proud of himself for following the letter, if not the spirit, of the law that I couldn't help but laugh.

I have a feeling I am going to be outmatched by the time Jack hits double digits. With two lawyers for parents, the poor kid didn't stand a chance I suppose...
