Boxing Day

When I went in to get Jack out of his crib this morning, he looked up and said "Open more presents mommy!" Clearly we did not do a good job explaining to Jack that Christmas is a day, not a lifestyle, at least when it comes to gifts.

We went to the annual Patrick family oyster roast that afternoon, and had a wonderful visit with lots of old friends. We even managed to get a picture of all of us with the kids.

Charlie and Jack got quite a treat - the Patricks have an incredible electric train in their basement that awed the boys. The luster of the Thomas train tables that Santa brought the boys seemed to fade just a wee bit...

After being well behaved during the group picture, they were also given chocolate lollipops which they inhaled. Not surprisingly, they almost immediately began a rousing game of chase, up and down the front hallway. For the record, NOTHING GOOD happens when you give 2 year olds chocolate lollipops at 5:30...

Although they have perfected the "who? me?" look, haven't they?
